Daniel leaned back on his chair when his food was done with, wanting to just sip his wine and disgest for a few minutes longer. “Of course I would come with you,” he chuckled while his eyes traveled over to the little girl. Someone would have to babysit the little girl; taking her didn’t seem like…

Autumn’s face brightened up. Of course the Fallen would never say no to heading out. In truth, the vampire was becoming so restless she had the need to do something really stupid or do something so outrageous it would probably make her Creator facepalm so hard the galaxy would hear it. Maybe it was because of the wine? Probably not. “We can head out after I’ve done the dishes.” she spoke almost immediately. She put her wine glass down and started gathering the plates before the young one started to go off like the forth of July.

Autumn couldn’t help but laugh at how the child reacted. Just like her birth mother, Rosina was starting to act like one who would most probably get herself thrown into a lot of problems just for the fun of it. Autumn raised her brows and looked over at Daniel who was not looking at her as though he was expecting for the vampran to turn down the sweet child’s plea to join them. She had to be stern with the young angel, even if it would break the heart of the young one. “Oh Rosina, you know you can’t…It would be dangerous.” she told the child, collecting her plate and walking over to the sink to start washing. “I know! Why don’t you play house with the youngin’s back at fun market, yeah? Margery would love to have you around, yes?” she tried to make it sound persuasive enough for the child to want and go there instead of trot around with her mama and dada. She kept her fingers crossed, hoping Rosina would bite; “But mamaaaaaa…” she started, making the vampran pout back at the child. “You can look over the younger ones and play lawbringers and rouges…” she said with a grin. Rosina’s eyes widened and she looked over at Daniel, kicking her little feet around and squirming excitedly. “Can I dadda? Can I, oh can I PLEASEEEEEEEEE?!” Autumn heaved a sigh of content and continued on with the dishes, allowing the fallen to talk to the angel while she had finished with the dishes.

A few moments later, Autumn returned the dishes to their respectable places and walked over to Daniel, [Rosina had beelined out of the house and into the market to play with lawbringers watching over her like a hawk knowing that she was the child Autumn had looked after] and she rubbed her wet hands on the males clothing playfully with a chuckle. “There… All dry.” she whispered to the male and gave him a tight hug from behind, “Now… I think we should get ready for a little adventure, yeah?”

His each watched the two in wonder, seeing a mother and child relationship unfold before his eyes. The fallen wasn’t sure how the vampran did it, but she did what she needed to do damn well. Coaxing the child into a game she loved seemed like the best plan. Daniel would have struggled and pleaded with the child until she gave up. He chuckled, when he had to get out of the child’s way or else he would get knocked down out of her way. She was so full of energy, he didn’t know how to keep up with her just yet. Did he made a bad father to her? Sometimes, when the fallen was with his own thoughts, he because to worry about the child’s parental guidence she needed. His awkwardness with kids wasn’t something he could immediately solve, and he wished it was something that came naturally to him. Guess it wasn’t his time to be a father just yet. Would it be the same for his own children on day? His eyes trailed after the girl, watching her buzzing in the streets of their base. Daniel lifted his glass to his lips, tipping the rest of the liquid out and into his mouth with one smooth gesture. The noises made by Autumn snapped him out of his reverie, then he found himself looking down to her hands wiping themselves free from water.. On his shirt. “What?” he joked, chuckling, “What is this!” he grabbed her in a hug, squeezing and trying to bury his face into his neck, tickling it with his slight beard. His dark thoughts were forcefully pushed back because of this moment he had. “Trying to start a fight, lawbringer?” he called out, picking her steadily in his arms while she squirmed around, “No! You are my prisoner!” His throat made playful growling noises and snorts, pretending to eat at her face while his lips tucked his teeth for protection.

Autumn gave a count Dracula sort of laughter in odd undertones before she was pulled into a tight hug with the man locking her in his arms. “Ah!” The vampran released a hoarse yell of surprise that has now turned into a string of tickled laughter. She tried to squirm her way out of his arms but the fallen had proven, once again, who indeed was the male in the household. His small beard poking at her skin making the woman at least try to shake herself away from it, pulling her head back to avoid him, “I-I am NOBODY’S PRISONER!” was her reply.

Being lifted off her feet Autumn kicked around and pleaded for him to stop before his mouth nibbled around her face like a delectable with his lips tucked under over his teeth. These tiny playful moments were the ones she enjoyed the most. Two matured people acting like children in the kitchen. With her continuous barking of laughter, Autumn’s face was now slightly reddened and her eyes tightly shut. The growls the male gave her as well as his snorts made the woman laugh even harder - some of the tones high pitched. Wrapping her legs around the males waist she begun to fight back, pushing his face away from hers as she pretended to bite on his own neck, nibbling over his skin with growls of her own. “Biting a vampire, huh?!” she growled, “There is no competition there, fallen!” she told him with laughter of her own as she made snapping sounds over his flesh before she nibbled.

The Daniel playfully jerked his neck back, trying to avoid the silly game while laughing. “Hey!” he chuckled, feeling her lips and teeth against his neck. He carried her to the living room, plopping them on the couch with a dramatic, “HU!” when he landed on his butt. Autumn gave a slight bounce in his arms after they landed, keeping her safely tucked there. “You are my prisoner, woman!” his face reached down, going after her face to nuzzle it hectically against her own. Daniel laughed all the while he was doing this, moving down after a few moments to attack the nape of her neck.

“I am feeling hungry after all this work!” he joked, kissing her neck. The fallen started to calm himself, drawing his face away from the woman’s skin. “That was quite a workout,” he overplayed wiping off his forehead with the back of his hand, “Phew.” These days, the two hardly had time to themselves with things needing to be done, a child to care for, a base of people to keep safe.. It was any wonder how the two managed to get any sleep in all this craziness.

His elbow moved her thighs closer to him so he could lean it on his knee, chin in his hand. “Do we need anything to go down there?” he asked with a smile, turning his head in his hand to look at the woman. As he looked at her, his other hand started to play with her hair, feeling the softness between his fingertips. It was hair that was never damaged by dye’s or too much. It felt like brushing his fingers through air.. almost.

Having made their way to the couch, Autumn gave a soft yelp and a laugh as he had continued on with his playful words and manners of digging his face onto hers as she tried to protect herself almost helplessly with her arms. “No!” she gave a dramatic wail as he had called her his own prisoner. ”Hungry? You just ate!” she mused, almost surprisingly in a teasing way just to go along with his own silly little jokes. “Oh come on, I don’t weigh that much to call it a work out. It’s not like you’re lifting a few hundred pounds of weight over your arms.” she told him with a grin as she poked a finger at the males cheek.

Soon enough the two had begun to calm themselves, with the fallen playing with her hair and she with her fingers drawing invisible lines on his face; sometimes her fingers had lightly made a line of his lips and his nose, laughing at how he didn’t try to avoid it. She would have loved to stay like this with him, for a few more minutes. “We just need the usual gear… I’m sure you can wield fire once we get to the dark parts of the hidden city..” she told him as she unconsciously drew a flower on his cheek; the vamprans lips curving into a fine lined smile.

She remained quiet for a few more minutes just allowing her cold fingers to run over his warm skin, her golden eyes admiring the males face. “Any idea as to what we might find there..?” she asked him, “Maybe a few toys for Rosina to play with…” most probably skeletons, she thought. Wrapping an arm around the man’s neck and planted a firm playful kiss on his cheek. “Just a few more minutes.” she asked him as she took in his scent. Oh how she had missed these simple moments. It was hard trying to keep everything in her hands along with Daniel. He might as well be a Lawbringer himself but even without the title, he was doing so much better than everyone else.

His lips kissed her finger when it could, allow her to play with his face as much as she did. And it was quite relaxing feeling her cool touch slowly touching his face. This made it hard for him to play with her hair. One moment, he was playing with it, another he would find himself idly holding it and paying attention to the touches she gave him. “I’m just joking, doveling, I’m hungry for your face!” he mused, twirling her hair through his fingers, smiling as he did so. Daniel’s eyes traveled to her locks then to her face as she spoke, chucklinking lightly.

“Gear, huh?” he thought about it. Did that mean more digging, this brought out an unconscious grown. Daniel saw the woman’s face and shook his head, “I feel like part of the seven dwarfs, ‘I HO I HO, it’s off to work we go~’” he repeated their song, once watching it on a t.v. display back when things were more.. peaceful in the world. His mouth moved toward her wrist making small biting gestures to ward it off, “Your hand shall be mine!” he exclaimed proudly with a chuckle.

He didn’t speak for a moment, trying to figure out what they would ultimate find into such a place. Treasure? Equipment? A lost civilization? Who knew, but it would be interesting to find out. Like an Atlantis in New York City. “Maybe we’ll find people down there who want to suck our brains out!” he was in joking mode now, finding it hard to place footing for his serious mood. “And, you know, it might make a great home for the Dragons, if they needed one,” he nodded his head and shrugged his shoulders. Daniel briefly met the lad, but that was about it. He didn’t know much about their history or where they came from. Like Autumn’s story from long, long ago.

“Toys for Rosina.. I suppose we should get started on getting her toys and things to be comfortable in. Taking care of a child calls for many things,” he shook his head, stating an understatement. When they could not take care of themselves, mostly Daniel, now they had another to take care of. Yet, not only that, another mouth to feed.

Arwen and Daniel

Daniel sniffed the air, feeling the damp texture of the winds. It was early morning and the Fallen woke up a few minutes prior. “This forest is so odd,” he muttered, taking a look around for anymore attack imps. Looking down at his poorly made fire, he saw the wood kept itself lit. It was a miracle, but the coal turned wood hardly provided any warmth he needed that night. Yes, he was slightly cold, but all was well with this fallen despite such unfortunately events. He still didn’t know was he was looking for, and quite frankly, didn’t know what he was after. Only that—he was indeed looking for something out here in this forest.

His hands brushed away the dew that stuck to his body, his clothes starting to feel damp. “Great,” his growl was low, being made out of annoyance. Daniel was use to “roughing it” but never in a place he didn’t even know existed until now. Ears perking up, he turned his head, thinking he heard something. He was sure he did. Humans wouldn’t be able to pick up the kinds of noises he did. “Show yourself!” he demented, his voice breaking the eerie silence of the forest.
